Info on the paynage

Howdy the names Aaron, and this is my attempt at taking a photo a day and posting it here for everyone to see starting january 1st 2010. I know, I know it’s not original.

UPDATE: Ok, so I'm not getting one out everyday anymore. But hey at least I'm still working at it!

Bit about me and my life of creating images... I’ve been taking photos well back into the days of film. I’ve spent a couple years shooting only black and white and developing in the dark room and loved it. Fast forwarding to the days of the pixel I’ve since abondoned film and have gone all digital (Sorry film! I will always love you, I’ve been seduced by the instant gradification).

Recently I’ve been becoming obsessed with studio and strobist lighting.

cherry tree flowers

The weather this week has been amazing here in Wenatchee. Here's some nice weather imagery to prove it.

Vintage star clock from the 50's

This clock was purchased by my grandparents in the fifties. I do not know why but I love clocks. More to come!

cowgirl boots

I thought the wife was crazy when she said that she was going to wear her cowboy boots on our trip walking around Ireland and the UK. She said they never bugged her feet. Surprised me.

Red orchid flowers

We bought a really sad looking orchid last year and the wife brought it back to life enough to the point where it now has flowers. It's a good thing she was in charge of it.

Kyle running around in the spring weather.

I'm so happy that the weather has turned to spring. We planted the garlic this weekend, think I even got a little sunburn.

Hills around Wenatchee at sunset

After going across the world on vacation and coming back it's made me realize just how beautiful Central Washington state is.

coffee or beer mug with a woman in a bikini for the handle

This is a mug from the sixties (I think) that you would get to paint yourself then the store that you got it from would fire it for you.

portrait of me with lighting blowing out the image in the top left

First time in weeks that I have used some of my lights. I wonder if I will ever learn not to look directly at a flash when it's about to go off at full power.

toothpicks in a jar

I love how depth of field and focus can drastically change the feel of an image.

portrait of me

First day back to work and I'm completely slammed with work.
